How it works

Player Profile

This page lets you manage your profile details, including your username and profile picture. You can view your statistics and earned accolades in the 'My stats' page. You can search for other players in the 'Player Search' page.

Please visit this page first to ensure your profile is added to the database. If your stats are not showing, go to the profile page and then check your stats again.

Points System

You earn points based on how accurately you predict matches. Your overall rating is calculated from these points and can also be influenced by your hot takes.

You can also earn points for:

Winning matches - 30
Take of the Week - 10 (For the hottest takes that spark the most debate)
Take of the Month - 20
Player of the Week - 10
Player of the Month - 20
Team of the Week - 10
On/off target takes - 10 (For takes that age well or bad)

Your badge reflects your rating:

Bronze: below 60
Silver: 60–69
Gold: 70–79
Pro: 80–89
Legend: 90+

Points for on/off target takes can change depending on how good or bad the take ages. The leaderboards display the top 10 players only.

The Locker Room

The main Hot Take group (linked below) is where you share your boldest football opinions. Your hot takes can either increase or decrease your points, depending on their accuracy and impact.

Players are encouraged to:

Back claims with statistics and data
Reference their sources
Include clips or images where relevant

This is not a place for arguments, but for respectful debate when trying to prove or disprove a point.

Players can submit others’ opinions for:

Take of the Week
Take of the Month
On Target / Off Target takes

Matchday Predictor

This is where you will earn the majority of your points. Predict the correct match outcomes to gain points. Predict incorrectly and you won’t lose points, but your average score and overall rating will be negatively impacted.

⚠️ Make sure to submit your predictions before the deadline to be eligible for points.

The Crowd’s Corner

This is the hub for:

Submitting Take of the Week, Take of the Month, On Target takes, and Off Target takes
Voting for award winners
Viewing the award winners

Think of this as the community hub where fans recognize the best players, takes, and contributions.
